AVR Controller Help

Quick Guide

Control your network-enabled AV receiver (AVR) from your iPhone or iPad.

1. Connect

Join the same Wi-Fi

Make sure your AVR and your iPhone / iPad / Mac are on the same Wi-Fi (local network). The app can't control a receiver on a different network.

Find your device

The app searches for your AVR automatically on launch. If it isn't found, use "Search for devices" or enter its IP address manually.

2. Basic Controls

Power, Volume, Input

From the home screen you can turn the receiver on/off, adjust volume, mute, and switch inputs (HDMI, Tuner, etc.) with a single tap.

Multi-Zone (Zone 2 / 3)

On supported models, control the power and volume of speakers in other rooms (Zone 2 / Zone 3) from the same app.

Tuner

Fetch your FM/AM presets in bulk and switch stations with a tap.

Remote (On-Screen Menu)

Navigate your AVR's on-screen menu using direction, enter, back, and info buttons.

3. Need Help?

Use Settings → "Send Feedback" (called "Report a Problem" in earlier versions) in the app to send a bug report or feature request. See the Details page for more.
